Behaviourial Economics

Economics is the basis of our financial system. From govt. policies to banking, to subsidies to the poorest, economics is the bedrock of all. But, this classical economics, has a major flaw. The flaw is in its starting point - for simplifying it’s
models, it falsely assumes that all human behaviour & decision are -

Rational | Selfish | Utility maximising.

And this is the breakpoint. We all know humans act irrationally and emotionally all the time. People smoke, students procrastinate, people overextend themselves on credit cards and marry without researching all possible options.

This intersection of Human psychology with Economics is Behaviourial Economics.
